Gardner House Guestroom

The guestroom in the GARDNER HOUSE is as spacious as it is elegant. The oversized room has a luxurious and comfortable king-size bed adorned with crisp, cotton sheets. It includes a private bath with a whirlpool tub. A large sitting deck juts off the room presenting a magnificent view of the Machias River. Our resident Bald Eagle family will entertain as they soar above scouting the river for dinner.

This is the only guestroom in the house, and we encourage our guests to make themselves at home amid the charm and décor of this eighteenth century farmhouse. In the mornings, a complimentary cup of gourmet coffee  with fresh homemade blueberry scones and fresh fruit are available in the historic Keeping Room where the Gardner family cooked their meals in cast iron pots over a fire.
